Malissa Peace, Principal of Madison Marketing, brings over 20 years of marketing experience to her clients including brand development, marketing planning, media strategy and implementation, and creative development. Her experience in a multitude of retail environments and diverse industries allows her to bring unique solutions to marketing challenges and the customer experiences sought by her clients. Her particular niche is working with companies in transition-companies developing and launching new brands and concepts, poised for high growth or reviving existing brands.
She has worked with companies such as: The Home Depot, Federated Department Stores, 3 Day Blinds, Southern Foodservice Management, Tile Outlets of America, Naterra Land—Sharp Mountain community, Cover-All Flooring, U.S. Installation Group, Red Stone Gallery, The Intersect Group, ControlScan/CRE Secure, PointClear, Masco and has collaborated with a variety of highly respected strategic, interactive and creative agencies.
During her nine-year tenure at The Home Depot, Malissa led the strategic marketing and implementation for such initiatives as EXPO Design Center stores, the PRO initiative, Villager’s Hardware—a new store concept launched in the Northeast, At-Home Services—a high profile growth initiative focusing on in-home sales and installation services, and Media/field marketing for much of North America.
Peace holds a Bachelor of Science degree with honors from the State University of New York at Albany-Business with a concentration in Marketing and a minor in Psychology. She resides in Atlanta, Georgia.
In addition to her consulting business, Malissa also has served on non-profit boards including Outward Bound-Atlanta and Hambidge (creative residency program located in Georgia); and is a Member of RAMA: Retail Advertising and Marketing Association.
